SOPHIA members have harps available for rent or purchase. Some members are also looking for harps. Please contact SOPHIA to request more information.

HARPS FOR RENT
Patricia Harris has a troubadour available for rent immediately at $40 per month. It is a wonderful instrument with a nice sound and in excellent condition with good strings.

After July 10th Patricia will have a troubadour IV available for rent at $50 per month. It also is a wonderful instrument.

LOOKING TO BUY A HARP:
Liz Douglass is looking to buy a lever harp, 28 pounds or so, with base C.

LOOKING TO SELL A HARP:
Betsy Whitesel is selling or renting her Christopherus harp.
Details:
The harps Christopherus made were so sought after that he got too stressed out trying to keep up with the orders and stopped making them. The harp is really beautiful to look at; real walnut wood frame. The arm was repaired and metal inserted, so it's now really strong and Roger has assured me that it won't come apart again. It also now has sharping levers on the C and F strings. Roger told me that these levers will not fray the nylon strings like some of the other levers he has seen. I now have a tuning key that fits the pin very well, so it can be easily tuned. It has a mellow sound like all the walnut wood harps. It's about 4 feet high and has 34 strings with the low string being a C.
